We conducted a raffle over the summer with the intentions of drawing the winners at the last horse show in October. The weather was against us. We had to cancel that show. Therefore, we took advantage of the Haunted Trail to sell a few more tickets and drew the winners on the last night of the Haunted Trail. The following are the winners:
Christmas Tree.....Larry DeGroatof New York. He is one of our dog racers.
Cross.....................Jodi Woodbury of Winchester.
Flower....................Kaylee Hawley of Kokomo.
4-H Emblem.......... Matt Forrester of Winchester.
Toilet Paper Holder...Jasson Brockman. He puchased his ticket at the Haunted Trail.
Napkin Holder...........Norris, another dog racer.
Thanks to everyone who purchased tickets, to those of you who helped to sell tickets. A great big thanks to Jack Anderson for making these horseshoe creations for our visual pleasure! He says tahe improvements that have been completed at the Circle X over the past two years have inspired him to create these items for the benefit of the club.

Wow! what an awesome Haunted Trail we had this year. Cindy Ashleyand her team did a great job of pulling this together in about three weeks!
We had a great crowd each night. The first night we made enough to meet our expenses, which made the last three nights pure profit! Thanks to everyone who pitched in to help, in whatever capacity you were able to do so. There were a lot of screams, some wet britches, and one person requested the working personel to stop their haunting and to walk her out of the woods with no further surprises! Her rescuer did a fine job of seeing her to safety. We are pumped and have some new ideas already in the witches cauldron, brewing for next year! Thanks again!

We are very excited to be able to host another year of chills and thrills! We hope you will spread the word that we are at it again. The trail is different wilth new props. The crew is pumped! Please grab your friends and bring a few carloads out for some great fun. Don't foret the mini hayrider to the trail head. The face painter will be there to wow your kids with her sitches, ghosts, and spiders. The concessions will be open with treats for your tummy. Cost this year is $5, still a deal. Come on out and lets hear you squeal!

Wow! Al last! We finally got the weather to co-operate for a full two days! We had a great turn out of IBRA and GBRA riders. They seemed to have a great as they asked to come back next year! That is pretty cool as some of them are pretty picky about where they run. Kudos to the grounds crew that worked so hard to make it happen! When the tallies are all in, we did a great job and have funds to start another improvement slatd for the Circle X.
A big thank you to everyone who helped in putting this together and making it work so smoothly all week-end. Tim Hardesty ran the grounds crew and did a great job. Dean Hunt spent hours push mowing by hand parts of the Circle X and donated the panels for the catch pen. He also manned the mic for two nights of kareoke! Some super singers, and one member made her Circle X debute! She has sung in church for years, but this was her first time in front of the Circle X crowd. Good job A.A.! Thanks to Joyce Caylor, Vicki Jo Mollins, Dennis and Nell Forrester, Brad and Shawn Rhoades, Jamie Hale, and Amanda Shinn ( and children) for working the kitchen. Everyone loved the food and the prices. Ann Allen helped Cindy Rudrow at the registration table. Kenny Studt helped wherever needed, and I know there were others that were pitching in.
It was a great time seeing people we know and making new acquaintances. It is amazing to see the variety of ages of the competitors. They ranged from about 6 years old, (they had to scratch the first day because their class finally came during nap time LOL!) to 72 years young and giving them he..........ck! We hope everyone had a safe trip home and that they will consider coming back on the 21st, the 22, and the 23rd!

Hello folks! The remodeling of theCircle X has started! Saturday, April 6th, a group of members attacked the Clubhouse with zest! The front vesibule is gone! The kitchen has been gutted! The new septic line has been laid and liquid is draining! Yeah!!!! One member spent all morning in the trench helping to lay that line. He came home with what seemed like half oif the Circle X in his pockets! He even had to appologize to the casheir at Ponderosa at supper time for depositing part of that dirt on their carpet when he pulled out his money clip to pay. And, YES, he did shower and change clothes before he went!
Due to the upheaval of the interior, the Circle X Monthly meeting has been canceled. Please pass the word to eveyone you know. ALso, if you have a few hours to spare, and would like to help in the remodel process, give on of the officers a call. We appreciate your help. The remodeling is our effort to improve the Circle X and make your time spent here a more enjoyable one. Thanks!
